Chris Tyrrell is an American musician and drummer who was born on August 25, 1984, in Tennessee, United States. He is best known as the drummer for the popular country music band Lady Antebellum. Tyrrell began his career as a drummer while studying at the University of Mississippi. He played with various local bands before joining Lady Antebellum in 2007. Since then, he has been an integral part of the band and has contributed to their success.
Tyrrell has played on all of Lady Antebellum's albums and has received many awards and accolades as a member of the band, including several Grammys. Apart from his work with Lady Antebellum, Tyrrell has also worked with several other artists including Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood.
In 2012, Tyrrell married Lady Antebellum's lead singer, Hillary Scott. The couple has three children together. In 2020, Tyrrell announced that he would be taking a break from music to focus on being a stay-at-home dad.
